Every time we go for a holiday, we like to bring a thing or two, just to remind us of our travel. We brought up the idea to combine three things all people like: boat trip, sightseeing and shopping!

We suggest this relaxing trip by boat from Messonghi village straight to Corfu town and back. Instead of going by bus or by car, you can enjoy the smooth cruise along the South East coast of Corfu.

During the drive you will see the fishing village “Benitses”, “Achillion Palace” on top of the hill, famous “Mouse Island and Vlacherna Monastery” and just before town “Mon Repos” and the “Old Fortress”.

Without any doubt Corfu town is one of the most attractive cities in whole Greece. Architectural and historical influences of Venetians, British, French and Greek made Corfu town very specific and unlike any other city in Greece.

Although each part of the town can be point of interest for every visitor, here are some you shouldn’t miss: “Espianada”, town’s largest square created under Venetian rule, “The Liston”, the huge building complex, built under the French rule, today with many coffee shops and promenade in front. Church of “Agios Spiridon”, the patron Saint of Corfu Island.

“Old Fortress” built in the 15th century under Venetian domination with numerous buildings preserved within it. As for the shopping, you can find jewelry, leather, clothes, souvenirs and different kinds of domestic products, such as olive oil products, kumquat liqueur and hand made lace. Beside kind sellers, negotiable prices will welcome you in every shop.

After a great day by boat, we will sail back to Lefkimi Port to take the bus back to your hotel.

 Verified Little Kids were Free. Islands and caves beautiful. Swim was great in the deep blue waters near the ship.
Booked a Messhongi boat trip to Paxos and Antipaxos islands. The kids 0-5 years old were free. The whole family enjoyed the views, the swim, the island shopping and food. It was a great experience as they picked us up by bus and dropped us baxk off again at our hotel. Full day excursion.  Verified Corfu Town Trip
We booked a daytime trip to Corfu town by bus. The travel shop is just outside our hotel, Kairaba Mythos Palace. All the staff were friendly and not pushy at all. The bus leaves at 10:10 in the morning so best to get there by 10am, as they won’t wait around for you if you are late. They were expecting 2 more who didn’t turn up on time, so we left without them. Which I think is fair enough. The trip to Corfu town takes about an hour, it took us a little longer due to traffic, beyond their control, arriving by the old fort at 11:30. The bus was comfortable and nicely air conditioned. The driver asked us to be back at 2:50 for a 3pm departure. Although the 2.5 hours doesn’t sound long we still had enough time to walk around the old town and have a nice sit down lunch. We didn’t go around the fort and there wouldn’t be enough time to do that and have lunch. All in all a nice excursion at a good price.

We made 3 different excursions in early July (Paxos, Corfu town by boat and the blue lagoon). The crew members were attentive and very kind. Special dedication for Hammouda, the very professional guide and rescuer, for all his benevolence, his incredible dynamism on board where he creates a great atmosphere, as well as all his valuable advice throughout the day (whether in terms of safety on board or during swimming times; or for suggestions of restaurants or visits not to be missed on site).  Verified Superb Grand Island Tour of Corfu! Highly recommend if you have limited time! 10 hours and you see the whole island!
I walked into the Messonghi travel center in Boukari located just next to Golden Sunset Hotel where I was staying. I was greeted warmly by Maria on a very hot summer day. I told her about my limited time and what I wanted to see. There was a Grand Island Tour the next day but it was to be narrated only in French. She called somebody to ask if the guide spoke English. They didn't but I decided to join anyway as I can comprehend 80% of the french language. To my delight our tour guide Maria was bi-lingual and there were other english speakers who joined the tour so we had things explained in both languages. I was picked up in front the center at 8:00am and dropped to the main branch to meet the coach and same in reverse. I got back around 6:30pm. It was a glorious day seeing all that Corfu had to offer driven by the capable Alex. We stopped to see the Vlacherna Monastery and Mouse Island where we took photos of the planes as they came flying overhead to land at the airport! Very cool experience similar to Maho beach in St. Maarten! We then went on to Corfu town with a quick intro about the Fort and town history and some spare time to walk the quaint streets. We stopped at Paleokastritsa beach and took a boat ride to the caves then went up to Bella Vista where we had lunch with stunning views of the bays below! After lunch we stopped in Makrades village to taste olive oils and kumquat liquors. It was a great place to pick up Corfiot souvenirs including body products, honey, soaps, t-shirts and more; all locally made. We drove though the mountains to the old fishing village of Kassiopi. It was a hot day so we didn't walk for long. I enjoyed a cold drink and tried to stay out of the direct sun as much as possible. Most folks took the opportunity to do some shopping and have ice cream. We then went to Kalami for photographs being closest point to Albania. It was a long drive back but not at all boring. Everywhere you lay your eyes there is something cultural to see and I truly enjoyed the tour even though it was a 10 hour day for me! I do highly recommend this tour if you're only in Corfu for a few days and want to see the whole island!

Great experience, we walked around all of the travel shops and they were all quite pushy, apart from Messonghi travel they were very friendly, explained all trips in great detail. We decided to book Aqualand and it was €45 each that included return bus & ticket, (Aqualand tickets on their own are €36) great value! Following day we went to blue lagoon, was an amazing experience cheap again we had some issues coming back on the boat with strong waves, the team onboard was very helpful stopped at a nearby island and got us boats back safely from there. We also booked Corfu by night twice & got a discount both times. All in a great experience, and would definitely recommend using messonghi travel
